show up in the Lagito area near the Hilton.there are a bunch of apartment

a 3 bedroom for $60 a night.we settled for a 3 bedroom at Edificio Exlaris
for $90 a night with a swimming pool and facing the water.always negociate
first because they will give you the higher price first.the administrator
went down to $90 from $150 after i told him i know a guy named Juan Valdez
with an apartment just as good for $80.or you can reserve one which is'nt
a bad idea after all.at least you will know what you're spending..i hear
there are some cheap apartments in the old city for $5 a night - no gracious.
FOOD
you
can buy fruits and vegtables/fruits on the street cheap.there are plenty
of markets to buy eggs,milk etc.there are some nice restaurants in Lagito.you
can get a Red Snapper dinner(Pargo Rojo) for $3 or $4 usd or 10,000 CP.
TAXIS
taxis
are cheap.Lagito to the old city was usually $4000 CP or about $1.20 usd.to
"El Bosque" where Playboy is i usually paid $7000 Cp.sometimes
i would argue over $1000 pesos not realizing its only about 30 or 40 cents.or
i would pay what i thought was right and leave the taxi.
LA DOLCE VIDA
this
is the best place for pro action.each night there were about 20 or more
